How this Product is Made

The journey begins with certified organic cotton.

The yarn is traditonally ikat dyed, taking 4 days to tie and dye and then assemble the yarn hanks on the drums to achieve this incredible fabric design. Dyes are to GOTS standard.

The fabric is hand-woven at Swallows where each dress is hand-cut, tailored, and finished with care. Buttons are hand made in mother of pearl from local pond shells.

This product supports sustainable production, fair wages, women's empowerment and rural economic development in Bangladesh.

Care Instructions

✨Gentle, cool machine wash in a laundry bag or hand wash on low spin with mild detergent. Wash with similar colours, line dry in shade. Iron on reverse side. ✨
