We're excited to have the new Indilisi Collection stocked at FAIR Shop, a pioneer of Fair & Sustainable clothing. The team really knows the issues, having extensive experience in the fashion industry, and they curate a beautiful shop of ethical and sustainable brands.
"I’d love to live in Brighton, but the next best thing, is having a day out there. What better than seaside, the Lanes, and to discover amazing stores like FAIR. I also highly recommend lunch at Tofu Vegan, which offers very tasty Chinese-inspired dishes and has a sunny terrace.”
Safia Minney, MBE, Founder & Creative Director, Indilisi

We sat down with FAIR Shop owner, Siobhan Wilson (SW) to talk about our Indilisi collection being showcased at her beautiful boutique in Brighton.
Why are you excited to be selling Indilisi at FAIR?
SW: It has a beautiful, unique and versatile design, is Fair Trade, and uses luxurious fabrics. It's perfect for a capsule wardrobe and supports organic cotton farmers and artisans in sustaining their stunning craftsmanship. It ticks all our boxes! Fashionable, fair and keeps craft alive.
How many sustainable clothing brands and brands do you sell?
We worked with 35 Fair Trade and Ethical brands in 2025. Our clothing price points start from about £40 up through to £175. A few new, handmade pieces are coming in soon; prices will be higher because each piece is one off and handmade. We also sell amazing accessories made from apple and mushroom leather.
What’s your favourite thing about running a sustainable fashion boutique? I love working with such inspirational people and companies who absolutely put the makers and impact to the planet at the heart of what they do. They all go the extra mile to deliver high quality pieces that have a low footprint but are beautiful to wear. Also, being able to show well designed sustainable brands to our loyal regular customers is a joy!
We have a team that has over 75 years in retail working with brands such as Hobbs, Whistles, Anthropology and Urban Outfitters. I have 25 years experience in Fair and Sustainable fashion, then a very strong visual merchandising and sales team.
What’s a good day out in Brighton?
Who doesn't love wandering the famous Brighton Lanes. We are located on Hanningtons Lane, the newest lane paying homage to the famous department store that was on our site. We have wonderful restaurants including Tofu Vegan, which just opened opposite us and is absolutely delicious. We are so close to the pier and Pavillion Palace too and they are well worth a visit.
Will a seagull steal your lunch if you eat on the beach?
Absolutely! Don't eat outside! I once saw a young man almost crying because a seagull had just swooped off with his sandwich for a second time as he was walking down the road!
